July 2026 marks the 50th anniversary of the passing of our guitar hero – Ian Boulton Smith, and to mark the occasion BIM will be playing a rare gig at the CAMBRIDGE ROCK FESTIVAL on the 31st July. visit www.cambridgerockfestival.co.uk

The band will be more or less the same as the 2006 album launch and re-union gig in Bolton with Paul TJ O’Neill on drums and lead vocals, Dan Collins on raging Lead Guitar, bassist Garry Cutress replace Derek Austin for this one – Derek, unfortunately is not in the best of health. Backing vocals and Sax will again be Pauls daughters Rachael O’Neill and Victoria O’Neill-Neeves on vocal and sax.

We are really looking forward to getting to the stage and rocking in memory of Ian.
