This is Pauls second “Storical” a musical without the usual script, and not produced on stage. It tells the story of a research biologist – Phillip Markham and his assistant Beverley, who are working together trying to discover if insects of all types, actually communicate with each other – they just need to prove it.

They collect samples from the garden and keep them in a fish tank – the Glass Cage. The action then moves from the laboratory – into the world of the insects and we meet – Eldon – the common earwig – full of common sense, Damion the snooty common cockroach who hates the fact he is known as ‘common’ and Aaron and Elytra – the Cardinal beetles who are among the most intelligent of the insect world. They each try teaching the insects to work together – to escape from this glass prison – so they no longer need to spend their “Days In Glass Cages”

Paul, Derek, Noel and Ian’s sisters, have of course donated their share from the first 600 sales to Cancer Research and Macmillian Cancer Care, and are all very excited to be part of the Guerssen family.
