New Paul O’Neill / Bolton Iron Maiden Album PUPPET MASTER – mixed at Abbey Road
The new album “Puppet Master – the Rise and Rise of Slick Dandy” has now completed mixing at the world renown Abbey Road Studios in London.
Created over 8 days in April and May 2018, Paul was lucky to have young whizz kid engineer Toby Hulbert to work with on the Album. Toby is know for being “inventive” and trying out new things. One amazing day, we came to the studio to find a massive Studer analogue tape deck – to play the mix through to get a “warm” sound.
He also wheeled in lots of wonderful analogue equipment like this Altec valve compressor and Fairchild DI

Ronnie Patel – The man who can SELL!!
A big thank you to Ronnie Patel, who alone has sold more than 190 CD’s for the Bolton Iron Maiden.
Not only has Ronnie done a good deal of selling – in the process he has managed to donate hundred’s of pounds for our two chancer charities Cancer Research and Macmillian Cancer Care.
A great asset and a good friend to The Band!

Sag – the world No.1 fan, bows out
It is with great sadness, we have to report that Sag, the man who recorded every event and move the Bolton Iron Maiden made between 1970 and 1976, has passed away, and gone to Rock ‘N Roll heaven upstairs.
The news came yesterday that Sag had passed away peacefully on Wednesday afternoon 8 August 2017, surrounded by his family.
He will always be remembered for the crazy (but actually very clever) dancing, and the cast iron SAG sign he wore as a necklace. Sag followed our Iron Maiden to every gig he could, and when he came he always brought a super 8 camera, and his Alba cassette recorder.
It is the reason we were able to put out the albums “Maiden Flight” and “Boulton Flies Again”
Paul O, Derek, Dylan, Terry & Paul Hampson and the rest of the gang will miss him greatly.
RIP Sag!

TEE SHIRTS COST REDUCES
Monday 1 June 2015
Brilliant news– because of steady sales, we have been able to get the manufacturer to reduce the costs of the Tee Shirts – from £16.99 to £12.99 – which we are passing on to you of course! All profits from ALL products of the BIM go direct to our two cancer charities – so buy something nice – and do something nice at the same time.
Regards Paul
